Singapore is geographically located one degree north of the Equator and thus, it has no true distinct seasons. Its climate is characterized by uniform temperature, high humidity and abundant rainfall. The temperature ranges from 23°C to 34°C.

 

Relative humidity averages around 70%, hitting 90% in the early mornings, and dropping to 60% in the afternoon. Singapore experiences two monsoon seasons a year, the first being the Northeast Monsoon from December to March and the second one being the Southeast Monsoon from June to September. Periods in between the monsoon seasons are generally the driest.
