What are the participating countries entitled to the 15% discount on registration fees for Standard Chartered Bank cardholders?

Standard Chartered debit and credit cardholders from Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam can enjoy the 15% discount on registration fees.

Can various discounts be accumulated?

Discounts cannot be accumulated. Please use the discount with the highest value.

Runners of ‘Double Up Challenge’ will receive their respective category medals plus an exclusive Double Up Challenge Finisher medal upon completing their 10km or Marathon 42.195km on Sunday.

What is the minimum age requirement to participate in the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2024?

  • A Runner must be 18 years and above as of 31 December 2025 to participate in the Marathon 42.195km.
  • Runner must be 16 years and above as of 31 December 2025 to participate in the Ekiden.
  • Runner must be 16 years and above as of 31 December 2025 to participate in the Half Marathon 21.1km.
  • Runner must be 14 years and above as of 31 December 2025 to participate in the 10km race.
  • Runner must be 10 years and above as of 31 December 2025 to participate in the 5km race.
  • Runner for the Singapore Masters Men’s or the Singapore Masters Women’s must be 35 years and above in Year 2025.
  • Runners for the Kids Dash must be between 0 – 12 years as of Year 2025.
  • Any runners below the age of 18 as of 31 December 2025 is required to seek parental/guardian consent and complete the relevant indemnity and declaration forms when registering online or in-person, failing which IRONMAN reserves the right to refuse entry to that Runner.

Note to parents and guardians of Kids Dash Runners:

  • For Runners aged 6 years and below as of Year 2025, it is compulsory for one parent or guardian to accompany the child during the race for safety purposes, failing which, the organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to the Runner. An identical bib will be issued to the accompanying parent OR guardian.

How do I know if I have successfully registered?

All registered Runners will receive a confirmation email and receipt upon successful registration to the email address used at time of registration.

I registered but did not receive my confirmation email and receipt.

Please allow up to 2 hours to receive your confirmation email. There are several reasons you may not have received your confirmation slip.

  • It could be in your spam/junk folder.
  • Registration was unsuccessful.
  • The email address entered at time of registration is incorrect.

Please email [email protected] providing the email address used at time of registration for the team to check on your registration status.

How can I make changes to my registration details after registering?

Please follow the steps below accordingly:

1. Click on ‘My Registration’ at this link to find your registration details
2. Enter your registration email and booking reference found in your confirmation email
3. Click on ‘Edit registration’ to change the necessary details

You will not be able to change T-shirt or singlet sizes in your registration. Please email [email protected] for assistance.

I have registered for the race but have injured myself or am unable to attend the race.

All race registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events.

Can I transfer my race entry to someone else?

All race registrations are strictly non-transferable from person to person.

I have missed the registration deadline. Can I still join the race?

No. All registrations must be completed by 30th November 2025, 23:59, and all Runners must have a bib to enter the racecourse and venue.

How do I select my start pen?

Please select your start pen based on the estimated time you will take to complete the category that you are signing up for.

Can I change my race category after signing up?

Yes, category transfer is open between Monday 21 April 2025 – Friday 26 September 2025.

Please take note of the charges applied below:

    • Admin charge regardless of category upgrade or downgrade
    • Charges will be applied if a top up amount is required
    • The difference in pricing between the original registration and preferred running category will NOT be refunded.

Can I change my T-shirt/Singlet size?

T-Shirt/Singlet size can be changed up to Monday 21 April 2025 – Friday, 26 September 2025, 11.59pm, subject to availability of the requested size. Please write in to [email protected] with your request.

After this date, no changes in T-Shirt size will be accepted. Please select your T-shirt size appropriately during the registration process.

When is the last date to register?

DOUBLE UP CHALLENGE

I have signed up for the Double Up Challenge (DUC), how many medals will I be receiving?

Upon completion, you will receive 3 medals, one per race category completed and one special DUC medal to be collected upon completion of race on Sunday, 7 December 2025.

Can I collect my race pack on Saturday since I have signed up for the Half Marathon 21.1km/5km?

No, collection of Half Marathon 21.1KM and 5KM race bibs must be done by Friday, 5 December 2025, 8PM to ensure entry to the race venue on Saturday 6 December 2025.

I have registered for two categories separately. Am I entitled to receive the Double Up Challenge medal if I complete both categories?

Runners who have registered for two separate categories will not be eligible for the Double Up Challenge medal. Please sign up under the Double Up Challenge category.

Who is eligible to compete in the Elite Marathon Men and Elite Marathon Women Race?

What are the available race categories for Elite Marathon Race?

How to register for the Elite Marathon Race?

Athletes holding World Athletics Gold Label or Platinum Label status, as well as elite athletes meeting the qualifying criteria, are invited to express their interest in participating in the SCSM2025 Elite Marathon (42.195km) by contacting us at [email protected].

Note: Please be advised that not all individuals who express an interest will automatically be accepted or guaranteed a spot in the event due to the limited capacity of the venue.

Who is eligible to compete in the National Championship categories?

Only Singaporean athletes who meet the entry qualification criteria will be eligible to participate in the National Championship categories. Please click here for more information.

How to register for the National Championship?

All registrants must submit their identification document and provide proof that they meet the entry qualification criteria to [email protected] for verification to proceed with their registration.

Do the National Championship – Marathon athletes have access to the Elite Aid station?

Access to Elite Stations will be granted to only MALE Singaporean athletes who can provide proof that they achieved a marathon time of 2hrs 45mins 00sec, or less in a World Athletics – or National Federation-sanctioned race within the qualifying window period.

Access to Elite Stations will be granted to only FEMALE Singaporean athletes who can provide proof that they achieved a marathon time of 3hrs 15mins 00sec, or less in a World Athletics – or National Federation-sanctioned race within the qualifying window period.

All qualifying times submitted will be subject to be reviewed and verified.

Are National Championship athletes eligible for Elite Marathon prize money?

Yes, if they finish in the overall podium and ranking. However, please note that prize winners will only receive one prize money, whichever is higher.

PEN ALLOCATION

MARATHON – PEN A

Who can register for Marathon – Pen A?

All MALE runners who can provide proof of completing a marathon in 3hrs 00min 00sec or less within the qualifying window period in a World Athletics or National Federation-sanctioned event will be eligible to be placed in Marathon – Pen A. Otherwise, runners will be allocated to the next available pen.

All FEMALE runners who can provide proof of completing a marathon in 3hrs 30min 00sec or less within the qualifying window period in a World Athletics or National Federation-sanctioned event will be eligible to be placed in Marathon – Pen A. Otherwise, runners will be allocated to the next available pen.

Note: Please note that NOT all registrants who have submitted their timing proof will be guaranteed a spot in Marathon – Pen A as it is subject to limited capacity and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

When is the registration period for Marathon – Pen A?

Registration for Marathon – Pen A will open on 16 April 2025 and will remain available until the capacity limit is reached.

What is the qualifying window period for Marathon – Pen A?

1st December 2024 till 30th November 2025

Is there any prize money for the Marathon category?

Where do I submit timing proof for Marathon Pen A – verification?

HALF MARATHON – PEN A

Who can register for Half Marathon – Pen A?

All athletes who provide proof of having completed a World Athletics or National Federation-sanctioned half marathon race within the qualifying window period, with a time of 1hr 45mins 00sec, or less, will remain in Pen A. Those who do not meet this requirement will be allocated to the next available pen.

Note: Please note that NOT all registrants who have submitted their timing proof will be guaranteed a spot in Half Marathon – Pen A as it is subject to limited capacity and allocated on a first come, first served basis upon approval.

Am I able to submit a marathon 42.195KM timing as proof for Half Marathon Pen – A?

Yes, you may submit a marathon 42.195KM timing as proof for Pen – A.

All MALE athletes can also submit their marathon timing. The timing proof for the marathon must be 3hrs 00min 00sec or less in a World Athletics or National Federation-sanctioned marathon race within the qualifying window period. Otherwise, they will be allocated to the next available pen.

CORPORATE REGISTRATION

How do I purchase corporate registration?

What are the eligibility criteria for corporate registration?

To be eligible for the corporate bulk purchase, a minimum of 10 entries is required for the race across all categories.

What are the modes of payment?

Bank Transfer or PayNow.

How long does it take to receive an invoice?

You will receive the invoice within 5-7 working days.

Which race categories can be purchased for corporate registration?

Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Ekiden

When will the Person in Charge (PIC) for the corporate registration purchase receive the registration links?

Once payment has been received, the unique registration links will be sent to the PIC within 1-3 working days.

Can the Corporate PIC track who has registered?

Yes, once payment is received, the corporate PIC will receive the user guide and registration links from IRONMAN staff.

Will bulk delivery be available, and if so, what will be the cost?

Bulk delivery is available for companies who have purchased a minimum of 50 entries across all categories. Please write in to [email protected] for more information and pricing.

When is the last date for the purchase of bulk entries for companies?

How does a Corporate PIC add on entries?

The Corporate PIC can add entries by following the steps below:

When is the last date for corporates to register their entries?

For companies who have opted in for bulk delivery, the last day to register all their entries is Friday, 26 September 2025.

Those who missed the bulk delivery deadline can still register until Friday, 30 November 2025, however, they will have to go to Sands Expo & Convention Centre Hall F during REPC to collect their race pack.

What happens to the links which are not utilised?

Links that have not been utilised will be deemed forfeited and no refunds will be given, despite the category not being sold out. Please encourage your colleagues to sign up well in advance of the registration deadline to avoid any disappointment.

iTAB

What is an iTab?

An iTAB is a small, personalised medal accessory that is engraved with the runner’s name and finish time. It is designed to fit perfectly onto the ribbon of the medal, providing a unique way to celebrate and share your race day experience with this personalised memento.

Please note that this is not an engraving or personalised service for your Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon medals. Instead, it is an additional accessory to compliment the medal.

I have purchased the iTab. When will I receive it?

Your iTAB is scheduled to be delivered via post within two weeks of the date of your order confirmation on https://www.itab.us.com/

How do i claim my iTAB?

You will receive an e-mail with the details and link to redeem your credits and your finish time.

Once you have completed your race, please enter your finish time and confirm your details. Your iTAB will then be engraved and posted to you through normal mail.

Can I purchase an iTAB after the event?

Yes, you will be able to do so. We will be sending out post-event email communication with the link to make the purchase.

Is there a Sportograf package available for Kids Dash?

The Sportograf package is available for all categories. (Marathon, Half Marathon, Ekiden, 10km, 5km and Kids Dash)

I have purchased the Sportograf package. When or how will I receive it?

A 100% discount code will be sent to you via email prior to the race. Once the event has ended, you will be able to search/browse and download the images via the Sportograf online shop free of charge.

Please be advised that the code will be redeemed in the final step of the checkout process, reducing the price to zero.

I did not purchase the Sportograf package. May I purchase post-race?

Yes, you may purchase the photos directly from Sportograf online shop if you did not purchase it during registration.

How much does the Gold Club membership cost?

The Gold Club membership is available as an add-on at $595 per person. This is in addition to your race registration fee.

Is the Gold Club Pass valid for teams?

No – the Gold Club Pass is for individual purchase only.

Even for Ekiden teams, each team member who wishes to enjoy Gold Club perks must purchase their own Gold Club pass separately.

Can I purchase Gold Club access after I’ve already registered for the race?

Yes, if slots are still available, you can log in to your registration portal and add the Gold Club access to your existing registration.

Can I transfer my Gold Club access to someone else?

Gold Club access is non-transferable and tied to the registered participant’s name and bib number.

Will I receive a separate confirmation for my Gold Club membership?

Yes, you will receive an email confirmation detailing your Gold Club perks and instructions closer to the event date.

Where do I go on event day if I’m a Gold Club member?

Details on the exact location of the Gold Club express lanes, lounge, and baggage drop will be shared via email and in the event guide ahead of race day.

Is there a dress code or special bib for Gold Club members?

EKIDEN

What is Ekiden?

Ekiden is a long-distance, multi-stage race in which teams of four members work together as a relay to complete the race. It is an independent race category under the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.

What is the distance for Ekiden?

The total distance will be equivalent to the marathon distance, which is 42.195 km.

Does each member run an equal distance?

The distances will be allocated differently to each runner. The race route will be released at a later date, along with the distance for each runner.

Are Ekiden runners entitled to a finisher shirt?

No, Finisher shirts are only given to marathon finishers. Details of Ekiden finisher entitlements will be released at a later date.

Can Ekiden member run more than once for the relay?

No, each team member will only be permitted to select one leg to run. It is essential that teams consist of four members. Incomplete teams will not be permitted to participate.

My friend is injured or unable to attend the race. Can I get someone to replace them?

Yes, you may. Should you require any assistance, please contact us via email at [email protected].

Do I need to indicate my runner position?

No, you are not required to. The positions are self-seeding.

I am the Team Captain - Can I track my Team’s registrations?

You will be able to do so via the Team Leader Dashboard, in the Team Creation email that you will receive upon creation and payment of the Team entry.

Where are the Changeover zone locations?

The location of the changeover zones and the precise distance for each runner will be announced at a later date.

How does Runner 2-4 get to the Changeover zone?

A shuttle service will be made available for runners 2-4 between the Start Point and each changeover zone, depending on the distance from the Start Point. The shuttle service timetable will be released at a later date.

In which locations do Runner 2-4 deposit and collect their items?

Each team is required to deposit their bags at the Start Point, and these will not be accepted at the Changeover Zones. Participants can collect their items after the race at the Finish Point.

Do runners 2-4 need to report to the same location as runner 1?

Runners 2-4 are advised to take the complimentary shuttle service from Start Point to their designated Changeover Zone, or to make their own way to the Changeover Zones using their own transportation, prior to the arrival of their teammate at the Changeover Zones. Please take into account the road closures when arranging your own transportation.

Do runners 2-4 have to report at the F1 Pit building?

No. Runners 2-4 can choose to report to the F1 Pit Building or the Changeover Zones directly. The baggage deposit will be located at the F1 Pit Building.

For Runner 2-4, are shuttle buses provided? Are they frequent and where can the location of these buses be found?

Yes, buses will be provided for runner 2-4. The shuttle bus schedule for Ekiden runners will be released later.

Where does Runner 1-3 collect their recovery items?

At the Changeover Zones, runners will have access to recovery items, including hydration and snacks, upon completion of their respective legs.

Does Runner 1-3 have to stay throughout the event?

No. There will be shuttle bus to shuttle Runner 1-3 from the Changeover Zones to the Finish Point. They can wait and meet up with the last runner in their team at the Finish Point Ekiden Meeting Point after the race.

RUN-CATION PROMOTION

How can I take part in the Run-cation promotion?

To take part in the Run-cation promotion, simply register for SCSM2025 with any Singapore issued Standard Chartered card.

What are the prizes of the Run-cation promotion?

The winners of the promotion draw will stand a chance to win a Run-cation to the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026.

Is it possible for the prize to be transferred to another individual?

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

I am 16 years old. Can I join the Run-cation promotion?

To be eligible for the promotion, entrants must be at least 21 years old at the time of entry.

I am a Singaporean, but currently living overseas. Am I eligible for the contest?

To be eligible to participate in the contest, you must be a Singapore resident.

I have registered for two categories at SCSM2025. How many opportunities do I have to win the contest draw?

For each unique link sign-up, there is one chance to win in the contest draw.

How will the winners be selected?

In the event of the winner's non-attendence when the draw takes place at the Singapore Marathon Expo, will the prize be deemed forfeited?

Please note that selected winners are under no obligation to be present on the date of the draw. They will be contacted via e-mail and must respond within five days. Otherwise, the organiser reserves the right to forfeit or select another winner from the remaining eligible entries.

  • By Taxi: Pick-up/Drop- off point – Outside the entrance to The Shoppes on Bayfront Avenue
  • By Car: To access to the nearest car park, turn from Bayfront Avenue on to Bayfront Link
  • By Bus: Bus 106, NR1, NR6, 133, 97E and 97
  • By Mass Rapid Transit (MRT): Bayfront MRT Station Exit E

What must I bring for collection?

Please be advised that you will required to present your confirmation slip with QR code. It is advisable that you bring your smartphone with the soft copy confirmation saved on it.

Would someone be able to collect on my behalf?

Yes, a maximum of two race packs can be collected by a single representative.

Kindly find below a list of items to be brought on the day:

Where can I view the course route?

The course route will be released at a later date.

Will I receive my race finishing time?

Yes, you will. All categories, except for the Kids Dash, include a timing chip in the bib. You will be able to check your finishing time result after the event has concluded.

Is there a deposit for baggage, and where can it be deposited or retrieved?

Yes, there is. A bag deposit will be available as a paid service at $18, which will need to be purchased during registration. Bag deposits can be made at the Gear Bag Deposit Counters at the Start Venue, after which the bags can be collected at the Finish Venue.

Are there any requirements for bag deposit?

Yes, there is. Please use the clear plastic official bag deposit bag provided at REPC. Your bag sticker must be placed in the designated area on the bag. Please note that personal bags will not be accepted in the bag deposit.

How do I know which pen I am in?

What do I have to bring on race day?

All runners are advised to travel light and must have their race bib to enter the course.

If you have purchased a clear bag, you will need to bring it with you when you drop off your items.

How do I get to the race venue?

You will be able to use the shuttle service provided to get to the race venue, take a taxi, rent a car, or drive yourself. However, you are encouraged to use the shuttle service to avoid delays in getting to the race venue.

Are babies, baby strollers, prams or animals allowed on the race course?

Prams and strollers are not allowed on the racecourse on 6th & 7th December 2025.

However, they will be allowed in the 0-3 years category of the Kids Dash on 6th December 2025.

What happens if I have not finished the race by the cut-off time?

You will not be entitled to a finisher medal, finisher T-shirt (marathon runners only) or finisher time.

Will there be a refund if the race is cancelled due to bad weather?

No refunds will be given if the race is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Can I walk instead of run?

Yes, you may walk to complete the race within the cut-off timing stated.

How many water stations are there and how far are they apart?

There will be a total of 20 aid stations along the route. They are approximately 2km to 2.5km apart.

  • Marathon 42.195km – 20 aid stations
  • Half marathon 21.1km – 9 aid stations
  • 10km – 4 aid stations
  • 5km – 2 aid stations

What will be provided at the aid stations?

Hydration (Ice Mountain & 100PLUS) will be available at various aid stations.

Do I register with my child or my own details on the registration form?

Please complete the registration form with your child’s details.

Do I have to register myself to accompany my child?

No, each Kids Dash entry includes 1 adult accompanying the race.

Do I have to bring my child along to Race Entry Pack Collection?

No, this is not a requirement for Kids Dash runner.

What are the age groups for Kids Dash and how does it work? (0-12 years old)

The ages groups are as follows:

  • 0 – 3 years old
  • 4 – 6 years old
  • 7 – 9 years old
  • 10 – 12 years old

They will be flagged off at different times depending on their age group.

Can my baby who is below 1 years old take part?

Yes. The age range is 0-12 years as of 31 December 2025. We allow prams or pushchairs on the racecourse for the 0-3 years category. You may also carry your baby during the race.

Is there a bag deposit for Kids Dash?

There is no bag deposit for Kids Dash.

What do I need to bring to the Kids Dash event with my child?

You will receive a bib pack as part of the Kids Dash race pack, which consists of 2 identical bibs. Both the child and the parent must wear one bib in order to participate.

Can both parents accompany 1 child?

Only 1 adult accompanying the child will be allowed to take part in the Kids Dash event.

If there is more than 1 of us coming to the event with the child, will there be a waiting area?

Other family members must wait in the athletes’ village or spectator area and are not allowed in the start area or on the course.

My child is 6 years old. Do I need to accompany my child to the race?

Yes, it is compulsory for you to accompany your child who is 6 years of age or younger during the event.

My child is older than 6, do I need to accompany them to run?

No. They can run without a parent/guardian. However, you are still welcome to join them.

I have registered for 2 children, can both parents participate?

Yes. As you have registered for two children, this means that one adult can accompany one child.

Can both of my children run together?

Yes, they can. If they are in different age groups, the older child can join the younger age group. However, the younger child cannot be transferred to the older age group.

Will there be refreshments?

Drinks will be available in the Athletes Village before the start of the race and in the recovery area after the Finish Line.

Is there a shuttle bus service for Kids Dash?

There will be no shuttle bus to the venue.

You can get to the venue by MRT, public buses, taxis, private hire cars. You can also choose to drive your child yourself.

Are prams and strollers allowed on the course for Kids Dash?

ViewQwest 300KM Club

What is the ViewQwest 300km Club and how can I join?

The ViewQwest 300km Club is for runners who have completed a total of 300km in SCSM events since 2010. The race category in which you have registered represents the distance that will be accumulated. As long as you complete a total of 300 km, you will be part of the ViewQwest 300 km club.

Do I have to run in consecutive years to be part of the ViewQwest 300km club?

No, you don’t have to. It is an accumulation of the distance you have completed.

What are the benefits of the ViewQwest 300km Club?

ViewQwest 300km Club runners will have exclusive access to our 24-hour pre-launch sale.

What if I have completed a total of 295km since 2010?

You are eligible to be a member of the 300km Club when you register for a 10km and above categories.

I participated in the SCSM Grand Finale event between 2020 and 2021. Will the distance be considered?

Yes, participation in both the SCSM2020 and SCSM2021 Virtual and Physical Grand Finale events will count towards your 300km Club distance.

What are SCSM Training Runs?

Together with Running Department, we are organising 8 training programmes leading up to the SCSM2025. These weekly running sessions will be led by a group of trained pacers who share the same passion for running. In preparation for SCSM2025, the SCSM training runs allow runners to come together to train and run without any commitment.
